Our Story

"Two Worlds Collided..."

"... And they could never tear us apart!" (INXS)

We met at the altar. Two worlds collided. It was orchestrated by a committee in Heaven. Our parallel lives prepared us for each other and the meaningful journey that awaits!

Keep reading about the miracle of us...

Our story demonstrates the power of a second chance and the gift of new life. It is much more than a fraternity guy from western NY meeting the ballerina, cheerleading Jersey girl, but that is where our journeys began, and we are making a comeback. Each, for the last 32 years, has endured life's greatest challenges, emerging victoriously through faith and perseverance.

Steve, while raising four wonderful children as a single father battled a rare disease leading to a heart transplant. Steve is grateful for his second chance and is enjoying a clean slate with the woman God has been preparing for the same opportunity... to start fresh in the direction of their dreams and the best life has to offer.

A mutual friend knew we would be perfect for each other. She was right. The magnetic energy has grown daily. We are best friends and deeply in love.

Kim's late husband battled many forms of cancer for 20 years. They were unable to have children. Kim is now part of a loving family; she loves Steve's children: Olivia, Ben, Audrey, and Matthew and they love her.

Kim's loyal cancer advocacy over the last 20 years is remarkably similar to Steve's self-advocacy for survival against cardiac sarcoidosis. We are inspired to bring messages of hope and faith to people struggling with the challenges we have overcome in our lives.

We plan to develop our mission using an RV to journey throughout the eastern USA speaking at medical schools, hospitals, churches and other venues through our charitable organization, FODASA.

Steve is adding a theology degree to his environmental, cardiac, business, and foundation experiences to develop a speaking, writing, film, and teaching ministry. Kim is also pursuing a theology certificate. She is adding cancer advocacy work to the scope of the foundation along with her event-planning, writing, consulting, marketing, and speaking skills.

We are united with divine purpose. Fully committed to the institution of marriage, we hope our 'forever covenant of love' is a beacon of light and hope for all.

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace..."
